After
her research thesis; entitled "School-Age Children's Implicit Theories
of Intelligence, Competence Perception, and their Relation to Motivation
for Learning", and graduation from the University of California at San
Bernardino, she established the Developmental Enhancement
Center.
As the founder of Developmental Enhancement Center she counsels people with a variety of challenges including life transition, family relationship, self-esteem, addiction, abuse, career and creativity blocks, health, stress reduction, to name a few. She encourages and supports the open-mindedness needed for personal growth. She brings skill, compassion, faith and humor to the counseling relationship. She creates a space for developing an individual's greatest potential. Her lecture, seminar, and program uses the most comfortable way to define the true self with all the talents, energies, and boundless capabilities that can be clearly applied. Her approach motivates individuals to find out what they are here for. She helps to identify the dream, the vision, the mission of an individual in life and through self-knowledge, talents and skills to act upon it. Her program links the knowing with the
actually doing. Thus its aim is to cultivate self-respect, inner security,
and develop a commitment to one's own talents. Her teaching philosophy
lies in being happy with oneself, with doing work one loves which brings
a joyful, and fulfilling life. Being a full person, happy with the way
one's life unfolds, then one is ready to reach out, to give, to love, and
thus to be a valid participant in society.
